It's obvious from the way the skin under his eyes no longer looks bruised, how he holds himself a bit more confidently. It would be so fun to watch his sanity unravel if he ever discovered the reason why he was getting more rest.

"Ce-e-e-e-sarrrrrrrr," a confusingly familiar voice drawls, seeming to almost glitch on the vowels.
Cesar's eyes adjust, and slowly, the shadowy figure looming over him clears into the image of Mark- no- not Mark. An alternate? Whatever it is, it's wearing Mark's face, the shadows of his home pooling in the dips and curves of his stolen face unnaturally, and indistinct shapes that look like writhing snakes are waving in the air behind it. Its eyes have a certain malice gleaming in them that the real Mark could never muster, and it looks so wrong to see it on his face.

"God... you're giving me all sorts of bad ideas," Mark mutters, lost in thought.
The alternate barely registers his words before it feels Mark yank it upwards by its human arms, and then it's being pulled forwards, stumbling until it trips face-first onto something soft, but firm.
Silence. The alternate can feel Mark's eyes boring holes into it, scrutinzing, sizing it up.
"Stay there. If you move I'm caving your skull in," Mark's voice floats through the haze.
