Nathaniel Wesninski não entendia a gravidade da sua situação até ter 13 anos e seu pai obrigá-lo a o assistir enquanto torturava sua mãe, sem permissão para piscar. Ele entrou na corte perfeita e teve a natureza de um Corvo enfiada em si até os ossos. Mesmo quando despertou como um Ômega, passou a tomar supressores e inibidores tão fortes que conseguiu se passar por um Beta. Ele aprendeu que não era ninguém e que não tinha valor, que tudo sobre ele — seu corpo, sua vida, seu jogo, tudo isso pertencia aos Moriyama. Ele era um Corvo e tinha certeza de que nunca escaparia da gaiola de Edgar Allan, então se apegou a ideia tirar todos que eram importantes pelas frestas.

Andrew não queria gatos – sendo sincero, ele nunca foi muito fã de felinos e sempre preferiu cachorros, mesmo sendo alérgico –, mas ele tinha tempo livre e era realmente entediante ficar em casa sem fazer nada além de estudar para suas provas de admissão da faculdade, e Neil estava olhando para ele com aqueles olhinhos brilhantes de cachorrinho – no caso, gatinho abandonado.

Summary
Andrew deveria ter percebido. Ele deveria ter visto os olhares raivosos, deveria ter ouvido os sussurros agressivos e os parado antes que pudessem realmente fazer algo.
Mas ele estava ficando fraco. Vunerável. Estava ficando relaxado.
Ele estava tentando convencer a si mesmo que "isso" não era nada, que Neil não era importante, que em algum momento ele se cansaria disso entre eles, mesmo que "isso" não fosse nada.

“Between the two of us, I think you have more homicidal tendencies,” Neil whispered.
“You've got the hair and eyes. Wouldn’t even have to wear that awful wig.” Andrew conveniently glossed over the cartoonish fake scars on the model’s face. After a long moment, he turned to face Neil properly. “I can be Tiffany,” Andrew suggested, tone too measured for it to be a throwaway.
Neil had no idea who that was. The main protagonist maybe, who saved the world from the doll's crimes? But Neil couldn’t remember there being any Tiffanys in the movie they watched. He wracked his brain for what else Andrew could be referencing. “Like Tiffany’s Breakfast?” Neil tried, unsure.
“Tiffany Valentine,” Andrew explained, not quite meeting his eyes, and then, “Chucky's bride.”
Oh.

Neil and Andrew dress up as Chucky and Tiffany for Halloween and have some realisations.

Their connection started when he was born, but he noticed its existence only now, and the reminder was very cruel. From now on, Nathaniel would experience the pain and the nightmares of this other person, as they would do the same with his. Till one of them died.

When Coach called to say there was a Raven bleeding out on court, the last person Andrew was expecting to see was Abram.
It seems like Kevin's two worlds are colliding. It may be a good thing after all.-
Or, Neil was once separated from Andrew. Then he was separated from Kevin. How could he expect to be reunited not with one but both of them, at once? It's more possible than he thinks.

Summary
At Thanksgiving dinner, Neil gets to Andrew faster. The result isn't any better. Neil is still a martyr, and Andrew struggles like never before to insist that he feels nothing.
Because there was someone waiting for Andrew upstairs, and they got Neil instead.
[Authors note: Sorry guys I'm re-writing this fic as of 2025 I have improved so much as a writer I simply have to do it (and for continuity reasons so I can keep proper notes this time). Later chapters I'll likely make more mild revisions to.]
