“No. No, no. No.” With every pointless refusal, he took another step towards her. “Absolutely not-”
“Madison!” Moving as if she was afraid that anything less than the instant presentation of the aforementioned key would result in Madison’s sudden departure, Charlie slid to a precarious stop before her. “Your key.”
“Thank you, honey.”
Alastor’s afflicted carmine eyes flitted between the doe demon, Hell’s princess, and the key being passed from one hand to another, smile pulling tighter as she sent him a smug look over the blonde’s shoulder.
“You cannot stay here. This is my-“ His assertion was interrupted by the shorter demoness encroaching on his space.
With a flourish, she tapped the bow of her key against the tip of his nose, her arm lurching out and up when he made a swipe for it, her own grin widening madly as she cooed; “What’s yours is mine, hubby.”

This fic is a rough draft, I work very hard to make it readable, I do spelling and grammer edits, but it's a long long fic that still has a long long way to go so a lot of retconning and shifts in character personalities happen.
Alastor is a demon of many secrets and mysteries, such as where he's been for the past seven years, and why when he's reappeared he's suddenly taken an extreme interest in Charlie and her redemption project. Well it turns out it has to do with one of his most important secrets. Alastor, overlord of hell, the radio demon himself, is married. And not just to anybody, a human from the living world. Many years ago he found a woman he fell deeply in love with, a woman with a few of her own tricks up her sleeve. Well now the couple have a problem, it seems fate has ordained to bless them with a child, which has the unfortunate side effect of turning her into a beacon for all supernatural creatures on the surface. So in a desperate attempt to protect his beloved and the unborn child (whom he isn't yet sure how to feel about) Alastor has smuggled his wife into hell, and hidden her within the walls of the Hazbin Hotel.- Language:

Steven wasn’t entirely sure what to think about being accidentally called by a child who had just started their journey, let alone the craziness that came with it, but– somehow, for whatever reason, he felt as though it would be wrong of him to just leave the poor kid alone. Besides, it wouldn’t hurt to at least help the kid whenever it’s needed, or even travel with them!
Of course, discovering more stones and minerals would be a great benefit.
