"Donatello, your brother? He went on the mission with you..?" Splinter clearly growing more concerned as Raph gave confused looks to his brothers.
"You boys must be joking right?" Splinter chuckled, until he saw their unfazed, concerned faces...

The Purple Dragons find mystic energy, and use it to make Leo, Mikey, Raph, and possibly a few others to forget about a certain someone, as well as deleting all evidence of that person as well...can they remember their lost teammate in time?

Donnie loves his brother’s and sometimes he can’t really say it, but when a life or death situation comes up and Leo is injured to the point of where he can’t portal them to safety, Raph can barely stand on his broken leg, and Mikey is passed out from trying to make a portal, Donnie has a plan with the little Ninpo he has left he may be able to set it in motion - It seems like self sacrifice may just be the Hamato way-?

In truth, Donnie had known it all along. Even in this best-case scenario, only one of them could get out of this place. Mikey and Raph couldn’t sustain the portal, and the added weight of both Leo and Donnie together would have only made the strain worse. Donnie could see the cracks charging further up Mikey’s entire body and knew they didn’t have long. Much like Donnie and Leo, they were tired.
Not to mention that with Raph balancing Mikey’s energy (from the looks of it) and reaching out, there was no one to stop the Kraang from coming out with them.
And, well, Donnie had long given himself that role when he was first left on the platform. When he made this plan with Leo. When he had told him three of the four steps with such confidence that Leo didn’t know otherwise.
So, he’d known. He knew all along that it had to be Leo to get out. The better twin.

Okay so I got this idea from all the "Disaster twins" talks at 3 A.M fics, and I was like. 'Okay, but what if Leo saves his bro? or what if he is too late?'
