Summary
Nero whirls around to see an older man, dressed in the standard white garb of a Fortunan but with his hood down. The man’s hair is a pale white, which he doesn’t seem quite old enough for but it’s definitely not Nero’s place to say anything about that, and his face is calm yet severe, halfway to a grimace even when Nero hasn’t opened his mouth yet.
Instead of saying anything though, the man just stares as he drops his hand. Nero gives him a few seconds before scowling, “What’re you looking at?”
After a further moment of silence, the man finally says, “My apologies. You seemed to be looking for something.”

He could feel the pain, he could feel the machinery, the poison burning him, but his entire body felt otherwise unresponsive.

Dante's heart skipped a bit as he looked down at himself and stared in disbelief.
Instead of his red coat and usual gear, there was an ocean of white fluff. Two small paws were visible in the mass of fur and Dante looked up to the sorcerer in shock.
“My, my, aren’t you cute like this ! It suits you far better than your usual style.” The fortune teller cooed, an amused spark in her eyes.

There were a lot of different ways Dante figured his reunion with his nephew could have gone. Violence had definitely been one of his top options, and staring straight down the barrel of Blue Rose wasn't exactly a new concept to the seasoned devil hunter.
If there was one thing Dante knew he could handle, it was physical violence.

He felt the usual uncomfortable moment of awkwardness when he saw Vergil and Dante.“H-Hello.” He mumbled, feeling shy but still wanting to be polite.
Carlo squealed in delight and clumsily walked up to the trio, promptly extending his arms towards Vergil. “ ‘gil! ‘gil ! Up!”
The blue half-devil bent and picked his baby brother up while Kyle jumped onto Nero.The chestnut haired boy was cackling madly as he hung upside down from their foster father’s shoulders, and the oldest kid felt a small pang of envy.
These two made it look so easy… and he was always left on the sideline.
