Summary
Sasaki Shuumei, 24 years old, is currently facing a crisis he most definitely did not anticipate on the first day of the new school year. Or ever.
“My name is Miyano Yoshikazu, I look forward to working with you,” the new librarian says with a smile and a deep bow, barely managing to not trip over his own words. His soft-looking hair bounces a little at the motion.
Sasaki teaches math. However, no math in the world would have helped him account for the small skip in his heartbeat and the involuntary thought as he looks at the bowed head of his new colleague. Damn, he is cute...

Summary
“Well, yes.” Miyano would be lying if he said he was only looking to hook up. If that were what he was after, he’d have had plenty of opportunities in the past. But no matter how many people he went on a date with, it just never felt right somehow. “I have to start somewhere. I’m not expecting to find my soulmate after just a few dates.”
“I wouldn’t exactly call 42 ‘a few’.”
Miyano wants to snap back something, anything, to make this feel less humiliating than it is. There is no reason for Kuresawa to make up the numbers. While math has never been Miyano’s strong point, his friend’s career in astronomy comes with a certain necessity to engage in his worst subject. So, while he isn’t sure just why Kuresawa is keeping track of the numbers, he is fairly certain that he is correct anyway.
“You have a better idea?”
“Actually, yes,” Kuresawa says with a hint of a smile that makes Miyano shift uncomfortably on his chair. It gives off the feeling that this was exactly the question his friend had waited for. “Let me organize a date for you.”

Summary
“Can I kiss you?”
It’s been a while since Sasaki asked instead of just catching Miyano’s willing lips. But something about being in their own little space, free from all distractions and interferences, makes Sasaki’s heart flutter the same way it did when he first fell in love with Miyano, makes him feel almost shy to just be holding his boyfriend.
Rather than answer, Miyano gently moves Sasaki away from his shoulder, cups Sasaki’s face with his hands before leaning down and kissing him. It’s soft, gentle, similar to the first time they kissed out in the park near Sasaki’s house. The first kiss in their new home, in their new life together.

Summary
Instead of answering, Miyano pulls Sasaki down and kisses him. It’s not like the kisses they usually sneak in their breaks in the kitchenette or next to the vending machine. It’s sloppy and heady, begging for something more. It’s everything they said they wouldn’t do in the office when they decided to keep their relationship a secret. It’s careless, dangerous even. The door might be locked, but it wouldn’t take anyone long to get a spare key.

“Hey, look, Sasaki,” Ogasawara says with the kind of grin Sasaki would love to wipe off his face if he gets the chance to, “they’re playing ‘Shape of You’.”
He should have trusted his instincts and left when Ogasawara and his girlfriend entered the small music cafe he chose to go to with Miyano. The whole point of picking a place that isn’t frequented by most of the people they know was to not run into anyone, after all. Instead, they didn’t just run into people, but also ended up sharing a table with them.

Summary
The hallway light spills into Katsuki’s room, plunging his best friend into shadow that the blonde has to work a little to figure out. He’s dressed in the same sleep shirt and shorts he wore all the way back in first year, though he’s filled the clothes all the way out now, Katsuki can’t help but notice. Hair slightly mussed, as though he’d been sleeping just a little while before he knocked for Katsuki. The scar on his cheek wrinkles a little with his precocious smile. To say he looks good would be an understatement, but Katsuki has long since exhausted his vocabulary trying to describe Izuku.
Izuku and Katsuki sneak out to watch a movie... Ish.

Summary
Compulsory Heterosexuality, commonly abbreviated as "comphet".
The term first originated in Adrienne Rich's 1980 essay, "Compulsory Heterosexuality and Lesbian Existence". While originally coined as a concept applicable only to lesbian women, critics of Rich's works have expanded the terms across bisexual women, and later on even included men.
When someone feels obligated to date the opposite sex in order to feel normal in society despite a person's true sexual or romantic inclination, that is comphet at its most basic form.
Miyano doesn't know what he's gotten himself into. His closest female friend is now his girlfriend, but it's not any of the magical fuzz it was hyped up to be. She's funny and witty, yet the fantastical bubbles and sparkles from his manga wasn't included.
Then he meets Sasaki.
Should admiration come with skipped heartbeats and intense longing? Why doesn't his feelings for the one Makimura Nao, his middle school girlfriend, feel even halfway as pleasant?
Sasaki Shuumei falls in love for the first time. It's unfortunate that the boy is a seemingly straight fudanshi who has a girlfriend he seems devoted to. It's even more unfortunate that these feelings won't go away.
