After some initial grievances, Silver Wolf agrees to help Firefly find the answer to that question. No biggie if she has never been in a relationship herself, her knowledge of dating sims will surely allow Firefly to conquer the heart of her loved Trailblazer.
However, as their practice sessions become increasingly bizarre, Silver Wolf begins to wonder whether she has misunderstood her best friend's intentions.

“I am,” Stelle declared.
“It’s a long list,” Firefly whispered, holding her gaze.
“I know.”
“I might add more.”
“Then we better get started as soon as possible,” Stelle grinned, squeezing their hands together tightly
As long as she could remember, Firefly had always been dealt the short hand. From being abandoned by her parents as an infant, to becoming a lab experiment for a corrupt organization, it felt as if the world were playing a cruel prank on her. Just when she finally feels things start to settle, doctors inform her that she has a little over a decade left to live.
In an attempt to seize control of some semblance of her life, a young Firefly tries to complete her bucket list in a race against the clock before the inevitable day arrives. Little does she know that her best friend will be standing with her, every step of the way as she attempts to come to terms with her own mortality.
A modern AU inspired by Will Stetson’s song: Going, Going, Gone.
