Just days later, Donnie emerges from his lab with her scooped under his arm, and Mikey’s heart sinks to think of what she could have possibly ruined in there of his brothers.
“Little lady was trying to climb under my computer,” is what he says instead of giving out to the pair of them, looking rather amused about the situation as he hands Mikey back his cat. “Nearly got herself tangled up in all the wires.”
Klunk wasn’t a fan of Donnie’s lab for a multitude of reasons, most of them including all the slightly smells and noises usually emitted from the room.
She tended to still be a touch skittish with Donatello, and so her being rag doll carried out of the room was a new development in all of this so far.
His chest tightens as his mind races to find a suitable situation for this newfound behavior she had been showing off the past few weeks.
His face must be a picture, giving him away in an instant, drawing Donnie up short as he places a hand on his shoulder and asks him with concern lacing his words,
“Hey. Mike. Everything alright?”

The door opened and Mrs Morrison stepped out into the doorway. “Raphael, is it really you?” She asked sweetly, reaching a hand out. “I haven’t seen you in such a long time.”
“It’s been ages,” Raph agreed, smiling at Mrs Morrison, even though he knew she wouldn’t see it. “Mind if we come in? I have some people I’d like you to meet.”
