Summary
They do this sometimes, when they really, really can’t let work go and separate those worlds. As usual, Wilson gets sucked into the middle of it, as he always has when the lines between friend and lover and colleague blur to such an extreme. And ever since they started sleeping together, it’s not unusual for Wilson to literally be pinned in the middle of it, playing referee and bringing peace upon the nations using whatever orifice or extremity he needs to use to get the job done. Not that he's complaining about that part, not even a little.

All this time, he realizes— all this time, he's been making the choice to take the high road, to be the person for her that he wishes he had when he was going through the same things she's going through. He wants to allow his anger to destroy all of that because he knows he owes her nothing.
But that's not true either, because he owes her everything. She's the puzzle piece that fits them all together. She makes Wilson happy. She makes Wilson feel loved and respected and cared for in ways that House couldn't achieve on his own. And instead of holding that over him and taking Wilson for herself, she opened her arms and brought them together. Not for herself, not even for House. She did it for Wilson. “Did you fucking drain him before you brought him here?” He leaned in and sniffed Wilson before yanking his head away and making a face. “And you couldn't have bathed him when you were done? Your scent is all over him!”
“I didn't drain him, I fed. A girl's gotta eat.” Amber smirked, completely unapologetic.
“Look at him!” He turned Wilson around who swayed with dizziness as he was spun. “He can barely fucking stand.”
“I didn't do anything to him that he didn't thoroughly enjoy me doing.” Amber smirked and turned her attention back to their human. “Now, you have fun and be careful around that mutt tonight.” Amber stroked Wilson's cheek and kissed him, ignoring the snarl on House's face. “I love you, honey.”
“Love youuu.” Wilson sang happily as House swung the door shut in her face.

Wilson stood and walked around his desk, sitting on the edge of it close to House, their knees touching. “Maybe the solution to your problem is the same as mine.” He suggested casually, as if suggesting they should get dinner.
House chuckled and rolled his eyes. “An orgasm is going to give me my diagnosis?”
