They brawled in the dark until the war above them resolved itself, and then what were they meant to do? Erik had started it, the ceasefire. He hadn’t meant to. He’d laughed, because all the bitterness and hatred and frustration in him had boiled to a point where there was nothing left to do but laugh.
“Now what?” Erik asked, days after and not for the first time. They were miles from Wakanda, walking.

She's pulled in outside the shitty dive she's traced Shadow too, engine idling for the heat because it's godamn cold here in the winter and the radio won't work otherwise and she watches Shadow slam out of a side door, gripping a man by the back of his neck. She reaches for her cigarettes, remembers too late that she ran out three or four shitty small towns back and drums her fingers on the dash instead, watches as Shadow fucks the man into the wall.

When Erik takes the job, he knows that it's a trap meant for Ulysses Klaue. Isolationist Wakanda agreeing to participate in an African Arts Charity tour through Europe, displaying works that undoubtedly contain Vibranium? It's a clear grab to capture the man who eluded them in Busan last year.
It may be a trap, but it's also the best chance Erik has of using Klaue to gain access to Wakanda. To find out what really happened to his dad. He refuses to let anything, or anyone, get in his way.
Wakanda, and its King, have other plans.
