(Sam and Dean get sent back to 1996 and go on a hunt with their teenaged selves. The kids don't know who they are.)

Summary
A world where hutrans (humans injected and modified with another animal’s DNA creating a new species) - the practice that has an extremely long history. It initially started hundreds of years prior; it had been society’s solution to rid the world of transients, giving transients a place to be: used as pets or sexual play things. Over the years the tradition and practice has survived, save that now its ‘suppose to be’ completely voluntary. Each country governs the rights for hutrans, some are very progressive with strict laws that protect hutrans while others handle hutrans as less than slaves. In this story although there are laws to protect hutrans, groups are still fighting for stricter guidelines, and harsher punishment for those that abuse hutrans. Jeff is one of the good guys, and helps Jensen to safely transition into a hucow.

Summary

Together, they set off on a run that will take them from mountain hollows to metropolitan hideouts, from backwoods shacks to ritzy hotels and all points in between. They couldn't be more different; Jared is unassuming, low-keyed, and Jensen is as flashy as his souped-up Buick, but they soon discover that they have a lot more than moonshine in common.

Summary
Keep your head down. Work hard. Never wear a hat in the wheelhouse or your luck will take a nosedive. This is the rookie advice that Jared gets in his first few days as a deckhand on board an Alaskan crabbing boat, in between catnaps and ice storms, twenty-foot seas and more near misses than he really wants to count. He also learns early mornings followed by late nights aren't enough to kill a person, but ten minutes in below freezing waters might be, and that the biggest favor he can do for himself is to try and stay on the captain's good side.
Jensen rose quickly through the ranks to become one of the youngest captains the fleet has ever seen, but he has been around long enough to know that no one ever gets through a season without a few battle scars. It's Jared's quick wit, sarcastic mouth, and a particular sort of point-of-no-return look about him that makes Jensen hire Jared on a whim, reminds Jensen a little of himself fifteen years ago. There's nothing better than watching the morning break over the bow of the ship - Jensen just needs to keep Jared alive and well long enough for the kid to figure that out for himself.

He can't quite get Jared out of his head at first, but pretty soon Jensen’s dying to see Jay's whole face. 2AM is a long time to wait until the masks come off, but Jensen’s pretty sure they can put the time to good use--especially once they get stuck in a closet.
