A Kan'o-Fang roleswap au! This has been stewing in the back of my head since the semester started.
Basically, instead of Fang getting banished and becoming a bounty hunter, Kan'o gets banished and becomes a sort of 'spy for hire'I'll get this thing properly tagged once I have time . . . and once I've figured out how I should tag this fic. Summary
In which Ethos finds two former lab experiments on his doorstep and decides to take them in.
This is just sort of a self-indulgent mess I wrote over the past half year that I figured I'd share with the world. I don't normally write fanfiction, so this'll be interesting for everyone involved.
Secretly, this story is over 4 years old and just evolved into Hermitcraft fanfiction very recently.
As a result, there are a few characters in here that aren't hermits, but the majority of them are.Also, fair warning, these guys have been living in my head for the past half year and have likely drifted from their original inspirations. A lot of this is probably quite out of character by now, but I am certainly not fixing it.
I suppose that does mean this could definitely be read and enjoyed by someone who doesn't know Hermitcraft at all -

Summary
These were for a writing challenge I did back in November. The only stipulations were that the pieces were over 400 words (for prose at least; I can't remember the poetry requirements) and that the pieces weren't for any other assignment or purpose: just writing for the sake of writing. The organizers also stated that they didn't need to be polished work (again, writing for the sake of getting into the habit of writing more often), so these are not polished at all and therefore are not my best work lol
Me being the uncreative person that I am, I decided to revisit an old story of mine (because I won't let old stories die apparently). This was mostly to give myself more stipulations and thus more of a springboard for ideas.
They turned out pretty okay, so I figured I'd share them. Here's hoping I don't regret this.

Summary
Faladain Kan'o has been friends with Fang for AGES, and he doesn't know what he would do if his best friend wasn't there to help him through stressful times.
Unfortunately for him, Fang's job isn't exactly legal . . .My interpretation of what happened to Kan'o when Fang suddenly went missing. I tried to keep it as close to canon as possible; however, I am but one person and can only keep up on so much lore
Also, this is the first narrative thing I've written in a LOOOONG time, so sorry if I'm a bit rusty

Summary
Martyn's boots crunch against leaves and gravel as he approaches the house, the small flyer clutched in one hand. It looks like any other old house, albeit tinged with the same eeriness that plagues this area. The windows are dirty, and the highest window, which Martyn can only assume is the attic, is boarded over. The eaves slope in odd places, and the front step creaks loudly as Martyn steps up to the door.
This house, he notices, boasts yet another willow, tall and looming over the house’s back windows. It, too, has lost most of its leaves, its branches abandoned to sway in the wind, creaking and scratching against each other and the wall.
The willow isn't the only sound. Martyn can hear another odd noise, but he can't for the life of him place what it's supposed to be. It sounds kind of like something wailing on the wind... is that the beast the flyer was for?
Or, Martyn takes a job to slay a beast trapped within a family's attic.

Summary
Having been one of the earliest people "rescued" from the datastream, Ren has helped a lot of people to get used to their new bodies and the new sociaty. Some has trusted him more, some has trusted him less, and Ren can't fault anyone for that.
Spring is proving to be the most distrustful person Ren has met yet. Part of Ren itches to know why- but only time will tell. Right?
