Summary
In the aftermath of his banishment and the loss of almost everything he holds dear, Stolas struggles to find a way to silence the voices in his head that are determined to make sure he never, ever forgets how profoundly he has failed.
The pain rang through his brain like a clarion call. He gasped and went perfectly still, staring down at his hands, at the blood black as motor oil spilling out of him, dripping onto the cutting board and gathering in a shimmering pool. The pain spread through his body like a splash of ink in a glass of water, stark at first but diffusing quickly, disappearing but leaving every drop changed.
And in his head, blessed, ringing silence.
No thoughts, no words, just the fading memory of pain as bright and sharp as a lightning strike, already gone by the time the rumble of thunder came rolling through the air.

Summary
Charlie just wants two of the most important people in her life to get along, but Alastor is having too much fun riling Lucifer up to let a few tears interrupt his good time. But when he pushes too far and Lucifer falls apart, Alastor is faced with the reality of having broken his favorite toy and needing to figure out how to put it back together. Of course, once Alastor does something nice for Lucifer, Lucifer has to return the favor.

Summary
Valentino drops off a badly-injured Angel Dust at the Hazbin Hotel, but is unprepared when the hotel's residents refuse to let him just walk away. Once Val is incapacitated and locked in a warded room, Charlie and the residents need to decide what to do with him. They give Valentino an ultimatum: he must release Angel Dust from his contract, go through anger management therapy, or they'll kill him permanently. Unable to stomach the other options, Val elects to stay...at least until he can find a way out with his personality intact.

Vaggie stalked to stand over Val’s prone form, her angelic steel spear raised over her head.
“Vaggie, wait!”
Vaggie halted in her tracks and closed her eye, her face pulled into a grimace.
“Charlie. You can’t be serious.”
Then Charlie’s hands were on her shoulders. Vaggie took in a deep breath.
“Vaggie. If we say that every sinner can be redeemed….”

Summary
Katie Killjoy has had a bad day. Luckily, her coworker Tom is always there to help her blow off some steam.
His cage was three feet long by two feet wide by two and a half feet tall, with openings at each end and in the top large enough to get his head through. He was currently on his hands and knees, wearing nothing but a pair of tighty-whities and staring up at Katie with the eyes of his gas mask face wide and pleading.
“Yeah, not going to happen, Tom,” she answered the silent question in his begging face. “I’m drunk and I’m tired and I just want to go home and fuck someone who isn’t just a limp-dicked come-dumpster, and that sure as shit isn’t you, is it?”
Tom silently shook his head.
“So, because I have better things to do - which, just to be clear Tom, is literally anything else - I’ll give you two minutes to get me off. If you succeed, I’ll let you out. If not, I’ll leave you in there until I remember to come get you. Got it?”
“Ye…”
“Shut the fuck up, Tom.”
He shut up.

Summary
When Charlie finds Niffty gone feral (more than usual) and trying to bite off her own arm, the hotel inhabitants are understandably concerned. It is Alastor, however, who understands what she needs.
When Husk and Alastor arrived, Charlie had been joined by Vaggie and Angel Dust, the three of them all peeking into the closet and discussing the best ways to get Niffty out without hurting her or getting hurt themselves.
Alastor tsked as he approached.
“I will be sure to assemble an audience the next time one of you is having a bad day. Shoo, the lot of you.”
“Alastor, this is a bit beyond a ‘bad day’,” Vaggie snarled. “She’s bitten herself down to the bone.”
“Everyone’s bad days look different. Besides, she’s a demon. She’ll heal. Now, please step aside and let me help her.”
Vaggie still looked suspicious, but Charlie instantly stepped back to allow Alastor the space to approach.
He stepped through the door, looked up at Niffty, and sighed.
“Niffty, dear, can you please come down from there so we can get you taken care of properly?”

Summary
A lot of things about the hotel had changed since Lucifer had first visited.
Well – considering the entire thing had been a knock-down rebuild, that probably went without saying. Gone were the tattered curtains and mismatched furniture, the bar that had been yanked right out of reality and plopped down in the middle of the lobby. And those railings? Reinforced, reinvigorated, rejuvenated – uh, other words to describe the repairs.
There was another thing that had changed about the hotel, something a little more personal. Something Lucifer was currently enjoying to the fullest, his forearm propped on one of those aforementioned railings as he watched Alastor finishing his morning cup of coffee. At the table on Lucifer's balcony. The balcony they were sharing, because, yep – the Radio Demon now resided in his rooms.

Or: Lucifer and Alastor are enjoying their morning coffee, until Lucifer issues a challenge Alastor simply cannot let pass. How sturdy are those railings?
