Summary
The crime scene that Miles Edgeworth finds himself on is a strange one. The culprit didn't leave behind any clues to point to their identity except for one- a decisive witness who'd viewed the whole murder firsthand.
A witness who also happened to be a living, breathing firebird who introduced himself as Phoenix.
With Phoenix's aid, Miles works to find enough evidence to bring this murderer to justice, all while slowly learning more about his strange new investigative partner.

Summary
"I'm not the one who brought an omega in heat to his home without even knowing his name! So take responsibility!”
“R-responsibility?” The silver haired man echoed in complete confusion.
“For making me comfortable with your scent! It's like feeding a stray cat, Atsushi-kun - don't be surprised when it returns back for more.”
“A cat?..” Even as someone who could turn into a tiger, he was really struggling to follow the man’s metaphor.
“Yes, a cat.” The omega repeated before he withdrew his bandaged arm and placed it over his chest. “Cats are willful creatures, you know. They come and go as they please.”
“So…”
“So you can either let the cat sit on your porch or throw it out.” He finished his speech, waving at Atsushi. “Your choice.”Dazai hates his second nature, being an omega who's purpose is to submit to others. As a mafia executive, if he wants to live and preserve his freedom he can't allow anyone to learn his secret. But after an alpha from the Detective Agency saves him with unusual care, Dazai lets him live. And since Atsushi already knows his secret... he's the only person Dazai doesn't have to hide it from. And so, an unusual deal is formed.

Summary
Miles Edgeworth has spent his whole life killing monsters. This monster, the elusive phoenix, however, he's supposed to bring home alive. Beyond that, he's certain it doesn't even exist. Except- of course- it does exist, and it is perhaps the most annoying and most repulsive thing Edgeworth has ever met.
Yet- perhaps also the sweetest. Edgeworth just can't find it in himself to admit that, yet.

Thanatos watches everything Prince Zagreus does, but talking about it has never been his strong suit. He's found keeping his emotions hidden is best practice, and doubly so when the person you want wants nothing more than to leave the home you share forever. He feels selfish, so selfish, but he can't stop himself from hoping Zag can't leave, from hoping he'll stay so Thanatos never has to find out what it's like when Zagreus finally goes.
Scenes and implications from the game retold from Thanatos's perspective. Pining! Unspoken love! Boys not knowing how to talk to each other but needing to be close even when one runs away over and over!

Summary
"Please consider what I’m about to say. Think of it as you return to your mother. You must put as much thought into it as you can. Will you? Please, promise me you will.”
“Yes! Whatever it is, I’ll consider it.”
“Eventually Lord Hades will have mercy upon you. He will. I know that must sound strange—the most severe of the gods showing mercy where his kindred won’t—but it’s the truth. The Olympians are more… unreliable. The only way I can see to protect the Underworld and in turn you and your mother is this: Bind yourself to me.” His hands tremble. He brushes his thumb along the crook of Zag’s throat, so very sweet, even when he’s rigid with tension. “Wed me.”
Raised by his mother far away from both Olympus and the Underworld, a strange series of events leads Zagreus to meeting a faceless, nameless Chthonic god.

Miles Edgeworth always had a ‘what if’ when it came to opening up and confessing to anything or anyone he loves. But you can’t really blame him.
3 rejections were what shaped Edgeworth’s attempts of love. Now, with heavy feelings for a certain Defense Attorney that he’s loved for over a decade finally weighing down on him, can he truly handle another rejection? A rejection that might just break his will to love entirely and his one true friendship?
(Or, I enjoy Edgeworth suffering and decided to make him fail like 3 love confessions before Phoenix came around.)

It's not until the final resolution of DL-6 that Miles realizes how faded his world had become - visually speaking, that is.
(An exploration that begins with colour, continues with grey-scale, then fluctuates between the two, but which mostly focuses on the paths between and the people who accompany him on the way.)
