Summary
Will was wrapped around Mike, holding him so close that their hips were flush and their chests pressed against each other. His breath washed over Mike’s face as he spoke, and Mike realized vaguely that their noses were brushing. His eyes were bright as he smiled up at Mike, and Mike didn’t hesitate to return it.
And then Mike’s focus was shifting, from Will’s delighted gaze to his pink lips that were stretched wide in a grin. Will seemed to follow his line of sight, and then he, too, was glancing down at Mike’s lips, and there was a beat where they just stared. Mike could feel Will’s jackrabbitting pulse beneath his fingers, and he wondered if his was beating in time as they leaned in.
Their lips had only just brushed-
Mike dragged his hands down his face and sighed heavily as the dream flashed before his eyes, like a film on repeat.

Mike is waiting for Will in the basement, a look of suspicious, nervous excitement on his face. He cleared the table and laid out upon it are two card games.
"Now, I know you’ll resist," Mike blurts out, stepping toward him. "But I think this will be good. For both of us! For when we... you know,” Mike trails off, “When we get partners.”
Will scoffs, stepping closer to inspect the titles.
