Bakugou Katsuki currently experiences three major problems with his life:
1. He helped a dragon with a broken leg once and now it keeps showing up outside his house all the time.
2. He has a huge hopeless crush on the guy with the red hair and the freaky teeth who just moved into the village.
3. He has no idea what to do about either of the above. -

Summary
“Goddammit,” he mutters, but stomps towards the cheery little shop anyways. A little bell rings out as he throws the door open. He scowls at the patrons that turn and look at him. He closes the door with a bit more grace before slinking towards the counter. There is one person behind it, their back to him as they trace chalk words onto a sign. Their black hair pulled into a low ponytail, and dusted with a thin layer of flour. Bakugo frowns and clears his throat to get their attention. He was hoping Ashido’s shitty friend would just be here and he wouldn’t have to ask anyone.
“Oh, hello!”
Bakugo is taken aback by the sharp teeth that grin at him. They should look unnatural against the mirth filled red eyes and soft face. They don’t though, they accent it nicely, very nicely. Black bangs fall across his face and he twitches his head to move them out of his eyes. Bakugo feels his ears burn, and clenches his fists in defiance to them.

In which Kirishima is always in the wrong place at the wrong time and has convinced half of the hero ranks that he's some sort of diabolical mastermind who keeps getting away. When in reality, he's just a simple barista with big dreams and an even bigger crush on the manly hero who always orders a caramel macchiato.
...and also happens to be trying to throw Kirishima into prison.

Summary
The rowdy one introduces himself as Kirishima, and for just a second, Bakugou takes a chance to really look at him and he’s burning red.
His eyes are familiar and Bakugou recognizes him still, only now his hair is dyed a cardinal red, a few tinges of pink staining the back of his neck. And as he turns to leave, suddenly Bakugou is nine again, staring distantly at another pretty boy with a firetruck-colored backpack, and a familiar flicker passes through his chest. It’s slight—a burning flame no more powerful than a lighter, but it’s there.
And like a moth, Kirishima is drawn to the flame.
Or, Bakugou is prone to anger, but a growing bond with Kirishima gives him a new understanding of "seeing red."

Bakusquad break into an abandoned asylum with a history even darker than they could have imagined. When Kaminari is stupid enough to swipe some patient files the group find themselves in the presence of an incredibly charming, and completely confused ghost by the name of Kirishima. After some pleading and appealing to their compassion with his plea of having been trapped for three hundred years already, the group decide that they must take it upon themselves to finally put his soul to rest. What they uncover are harsh realities more terrifying than they had ever prepared for, and for Bakugo, perhaps a glimpse into previous life that he has no recollection of living. Well, that would explain why this ghost boy is so weird around him at least.

“Oh, him,” Kaminari says. “Eh, he’s popular lately, I guess. Don’t see what all the hype's about.”
Kirishima feels lightheaded. “You—you don’t see the hype—” he splutters. “He’s incredible, dude.”
Kaminari just eyes him.

Katsuki doesn’t have anything to say to that. Kirishima’s right. Neither of them has ever been the type to run from a fight and Kirishima, especially, is undyingly loyal.
Katsuki’s argument isn’t anywhere near as noble. It’s selfish, cut clean and dry. He knows that Kirishima holds himself to the same standards that Katsuki holds himself to, that he needs to win, needs to know that he did everything in his power to help other people.
But Katsuki needs Kirishima to come home safe.

Sometimes Eijirou fantasised about the day he’d come out as asexual.
His friends would hug him, tell him they still thought of him the same, and Bakugou would still hold his hand and kiss his forehead and tell him it was okay.
But he’d have to think about the others shunning him, saying how surprised they were and slowly closing off as their speech around him changed while they realised just how much they should ‘catch their tongues’. He had to think about Bakugou glaring at him with steely eyes so different to the warm ones he reserved for Eijirou. He had to think about him saying, ‘you’re not enough’.
Eijirou wanted to be enough.
All he'd ever wanted in life was to be enough.
