“Mikey, it’s over,” Raph said with such finality in her voice that something in Donnie seemed to shatter; maybe it was the modicum of hope in their chest, or maybe it was the tenuous wall he had put up to block out what was happening. Whatever it was, it hurt. More than the pounding in their head that they assessed was likely a concussion, more than the bruising already spreading beneath his plastron, more than anything. Because Raph had done the one thing that Donnie had fought not to do. She acknowledged the fact that Leo was gone. That even though they saved the world from devastation, even though they had succeeded in sealing away the Kraang, they still lost. They still lost, because how could they win if Leo wasn’t with them? How could Donnie celebrate a won battle if Leo wasn’t grinning beside him?
How could he keep living if his twin wasn’t beside him?

Mikey's portal didn't work. Leo was trapped in the prison dimension. Everyone was trying to heal from the battle and move on. But Donnie couldn't move on. Donnie would fight to get their twin back, even if it meant that the Kraang could get out. Even if it meant that all Donnie would get back was a body.

Summary
Danny Fenton is happy. It is a few days away from the Summer Solstice, a truce between ghosts. Ghosts attacks lessen in preparation for the party. Of course, Vlad Plasmius doesn't care. A video of the ensuing fight between Phantom and Plasmius is recorded and put on the internet. Tony Stark then finds it and invites the Fenton family to New York to work for Stark Industries and to give the Avengers weapons to fight this newfound threat.

“A million dollars?” The ghost hunter mumbled, looking at the bounty offer, “Just for one ghost?” Dante stared at the picture of the ghost in question. It had white hair, glowing green eyes and was wearing what looked to be a white and black jumpsuit with a DP insignia.
A strange, brutal, ghosthunter hears about the million dollar bounty, and goes to Amity Park to capture Danny. The bounty says he needs to be "alive". The stranger tracks the bounty back to a one Vladimir Masters, and shows up at his doorstep with a chained and injured Danny Phantom, beaten within an inch of his life, but still barely gripping the threads of consciousness enough to stay in ghost form. Vlad sees this and is upset. He had hurt Danny before, but never to this degree. He had only meant to teach the boy, or to have a son of his own. He never would hurt him this badly. The stranger demands the money, but Vlad refuses. The stranger goes to take Danny, saying that if he does not get the money, Vlad does not get the ghost boy. Vlad lets his eyes flash red and his fangs show.
Hurt/Comfort, Mentor/Apprentice relationship.
Set at the beginning of season 2-ish. IDK it’s been awhile since I have actually watched the show.

Summary
32 year old Doctor Daniel Fenton is a mechanic, technician, repair man for the Justice League. It may not be the astronaut job he dreamed of in his childhood, but he gets to work amongst the stars and do his part to support Earth's Mightiest Heroes who have saved the world time and time again.
However, after a trip to see his parents for the holiday goes awry and they kill him in their boarder-line supervillain scientist lab, Danny has to keep various ghostly changes under wraps. While stumbling his way through his relationship and now his new found powers, he's put under the heroes' scrutiny as they question how exactly Danny got himself into this mess. Leaked blueprints, super power training, and ghost lore abound, Danny's main goal is just to keep his amazing job and not get fired.
He maybe, even, kind of, sorta, saves the world? But he's just a mechanic and his only job is to help the heroes who do all the world saving and he is not one of those heroes.

Summary
Danny is on the run after escaping from a GIW facility where their scientists and his parents had been experimenting on him. Now on the run from the government and his family alike, he leaves Amity and his friends behind for their safety and his. Some years after being on the run, never staying in one place for long, he finds himself in Gotham, where he eventually reconnects with the Batfamily...except, they have no idea who he is. Danny knows them of course, but not in this time. Having been sent to the future and returned, he's not sure how to interact with these people he's met, but never known.
