Summary
“You make it so hard to love you,” those words, from Mob of all people, are the one’s that break the dam and cause the tears that Reigen had been so desperately trying to hold back to spill forth. “Shishou, please don’t cry. I—this is what I mean.”
He knows that Mob hates it when he cries, using his tears to manipulate and get his way as the esper has said before. But he can’t stop himself, not when it feels like Mob has shoved his hand into his chest and torn his heart out—not when he’s bleeding out and Mob was the reason for it.
“I’m sorry…”
Reigen was trying, wasn’t he? He had been trying to do better for Mob, to be a better husband and partner for him—but it was never enough.
He just couldn't stop making mistakes and messing up.
Mob shows his true colours once that ring slips onto Reigen's finger.

Summary
Reigen and Serizawa get a case about a presumed haunting of an abandoned old cabin the woods. It's definitely not haunted (at least by spirits), but something about this case sure seems to be haunting Reigen.
OR: Reigen has a hard time being vulnerable and communicating what he's feeling, especially when a case reminds him too much of some of his own traumas.

Summary
Reigen Arataka is independent and incredibly capable. He owns his own business, complete with a full time employee. Still, even the most accomplished of people get overwhelmed from time to time. Reigen's version is just... both a bit more subtle and a bit more dramatic than most.
OR: Reigen disassociates when he has trauma responses (mostly as a result of his mother). Serizawa learns to help.
