Walter woke to the sound of someone yelling, it sounded distance like it was in another room or where ever he was. He felt a throbbing pain to his head which explained the dizziness he was experiencing. ‘Ugh, where am I?” He asked, mainly to himself since he was the only one in the basement like room.
He moved his arm and only noticed that he was strapped with rope to a metallic chair, he was now confused and scared but that didn’t stop him from calling out to his kidnapper. “H-Hello?” His voice was shaky and horsed, he swallowed and his throat was dry. How long had he been out? But most importantly, how long has he been gone?

They were so close to not making it out of Korea. So close to not surviving. Felix was certain they were all going to be dissolved in a fiery explosion.
But they weren't.
They made it out. They survived -- and they were going home. He could see his family again, build the life he wanted with Bang Chan, and be free with his found family until the end of their days. They would be safe in Australia, wouldn't they? They wouldn't have to fight anymore. They could leave that part of their life behind them.

Summary
Felix wished he would have paid closer attention to the sirens - would have looked out the window a lot sooner than he did. Maybe if he had, things would have turned out differently for him. Maybe he would have been able to save more people, or would have been able to escape the apartment altogether.
But he didn't. He stayed and suffered and almost paid the ultimate price.
But it was because stayed that they eventually found him. It was because he stayed that he could finally heal.

Felix is stuck in the middle of the apocalypse with an abusive roommate. He eventually is found by a group of survivors that help him heal his scars left behind by months upon months of torture. He finds a home worth protecting and promises to better himself to save everything he has come to love.

Summary
Dark, faded blue eyes flashed with moonlight.
“Let me go,” whispered Hyunjin, but his plea was met with a cold and unyielding stare. In a flash of almost inhuman speed, he was on his feet and the chains pulled taut as he strained against them. “I didn’t do anything! Let me go!”
Chan didn’t flinch even as Hyunjin’s face came within centimeters of his own. “You exist.”
The chains stopped clanking as Hyunjin relaxed, leaning against the pull of the chains, giving his body the oddly distorted look of a marionette tangled in its strings, accentuated by the red glow overhead. He looked up at Chan again, their eyes meeting.
Then he spat on his face.
Or my interpretation of the music video, "Red Lights" and how "Escape" is a continuation of the same story. A hunter and his captured prey grapple for control as they discover a connection deeper than their ingrained hatred for each other. Involves my own loose interpretation of wolf and moon mythology.
This is PART 1. "Escape the Silence" is PART 2 (complete).

The whisper grew, echoing off the broken walls, building to a crescendo, the staccato of panting breaths keeping in rhythm with the wind’s urgent cry. Moonlight flashed in faded blue eyes as they turned pleading to the moon above.
…run!
Their prison of Red Lights left behind them, Chan and Hyunjin follow a call as they desperately seek to escape the burning world around them, guided by the moon and their love for each other. Involves my own loose interpretation of wolf and moon mythology.
