A young boy studying spiritualism gets lost and stumbles upon a strange house, inhabited by a fox. Bonding accidentally with the said fox, Izuku sets out to try and help the tortured spirit gain his freedom back, only to find out there were a lot more secrets to be discovered, not just about the Kitsune he bonded with, but himself.
He struggles to win the trust and help of the fox’ jealous, slightly unstable lover who does not believe his intentions to be pure, due to the man’s past experiences with Spirit Guardians, the likes of whom Izuku aspires to be.
It doesn’t help when it turns out your father is not what you thought he was....
