Obi-wan and Satine had children when they were young, still close friends and co-parents but realized neither loved the other romantically. Cody and Obi-Wan are the same flavor of nerd and Cody doesn't care that there's a 9-year age difference. He's an old man by his brothers' standards anyway. Summary
After a life-saving mind meld with Spock, Captain Kirk begins to experience vivid dreams of ancient Vulcan, a time of warring clans and primal bonds.
In these dreams, a prince bearing Spock's likeness claims they are destined mates, leaving Kirk haunted by how real everything feels.
When Kirk shares this with Spock, he is told that Vulcans do not dream, deepening the mystery. Unbeknownst to Spock, Kirk is connecting with a remnant of his subconscious left behind from the meld.
As the dreams grow more intense, Kirk finds himself grappling with his own emotions, toward both his trusted first officer and the mysterious Vulcan prince in his dreams.
