“That’s him,” Alex nods his head somewhere over Lando’s shoulder.
Turning slowly to appear inconspicuous, Lando watches the back of a tall man walk from the lunchline over to an empty table. The surrounding inmates avert their gazes as he passes by.
He’s got broad shoulders and floppy golden hair. Even from afar, Lando can see he has a dark, raised scar spanning from the outer corner of his eye, down his cheek, and halfway across his chin.
When his eyes flick up, Lando’s stunned to see that Oscar’s already staring back at him with unblinking, almost black eyes.
He’s a goner.

Lando gets arrested for something his boyfriend did and his cellmate is the infamous cold-faced killer on the block.

When he had signed his employment contract in March 2021, Charles noticed that there was a specific clause in it that almost made him laugh, since it was really ridiculous.It was a non-fraternization clause: basically, it was forbidden in Sainz Motors to have romantic or sexual personal relationships between colleagues or between employees and superiors.
This was to avoid the rising of a confusing atmosphere which would not have led to full productivity and harmony in the company.
Oh, please! I really don't think I'll find the love of my life in here, come on, thought Charles nonchalantly when he read those lines.
He could not have even imagined how much those lines would have tormented him in the following years... because he couldn't confess to Mr. Sainz his feelings for him for this very specific reason.
To do so would have meant risking losing his job (he would surely have been fired from his position as personal assistant and relocated to another department, if he was lucky).
[Charles is Mr. Sainz's devoted personal assistant. And he is also deeply in love with him. But things are gonna be very difficult for him]

There was a faint flush on his cheeks, and frustration flickered in his eyes like a storm about to break. He looked fragile in the way expensive things often do—polished, but delicate.
Max felt something odd tighten in his chest. A little sting, like a string had been tugged somewhere deep inside him. At seven, he couldn’t comprehend what that meant. He only knew one thing with complete clarity: the Prince of Monaco was the prettiest human being he had ever seen.
