Summary
When Tem woke up from his coma after the incident, Riz became a distant memory. Years later, as Tem is continuing his life, thoughts of the grizzly have been forced to the back of his mind. That is until one day on his way home, Tem picks up a familiar scent and decides to pursue.
Reaching the origin of the scent, Tem expects to come in contact with Riz but is rather, met by a strange sheep digging him out of the snow.
Or
When Tem randomly picks up Riz’s scent after years, he takes chase into a blizzard in an attempt to find him, nearly losing his life. Expecting to find Riz he is rescued rather, by a strange yet beautiful ram who smells of the reclusive grizzly bear.

“Now, now,” Snufkin told himself. “It could be a coincidence…”
A coincidence, that a poem with the exact same title and opening lines as his own work had made its way to publication? Unlikely.
Snufkin didn’t have his original copy to compare the stolen poem against. He only enjoyed writing poetry. Afterwards, he never really wanted to revisit it or share it. He just left the old notebook behind somewhere and procured a new one, ready to start again.
There was no denying the familiarity, though. After hearing it in Moominpappa’s voice, he couldn’t remember when or where he penned it, but the work was certainly his.
That didn’t solve the issue of how this De Hemulton fellow had come to claim it as his own, or why.

Summary
Dean reaches out, ignoring the warning hisses, and strokes his fingers down the bridge of Castiel’s nose and between his eyes. It takes a few seconds, but the hissing quiets and Castiel’s eyelids lower, though he’s still glaring.
This is the only way Dean has learned to calm Cas down, and he will swear to Sam until his dying day that he didn’t learn it off of YouTube videos of cockatoos.
(Well, this and a spoon of peanut butter. But he thinks that that is even less dignified.)
Or, the one where Dean isn't the Michael Sword, Cas is an as-of-yet unidentifiable bird monster thing who's more interested in grooming his humans than trying to eat them, Bobby takes up baking as a means to cope with his new housemate, and Sam is long-suffering.

Dean's life didn't start out great. With his mom dying and his father taking him and Sam on wild goose chase after wilder goose chase to track down her killer until Sam couldn't take it anymore and ran off, it pretty much sucked. But now he has Cas. And Cas is great--perfect, even--definitely the best thing that's ever happened to him, even if he isn't quite human. He's been living so long in domestic bliss that he completely forgot to be worried about waiting for the other shoe to drop. Which is, of course, when his giant of a brother strolls back into his life sending Dean into a panic that he and Cas will have to uproot their perfect apple pie life if Sam finds out Cas' big secret.

After the disastrous failure of his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Dean surrenders to his brother’s insistence that he needs a change of scenery and to his assurances that of course going on a scientific exploration in the Eastern Rainforest with him and his bride-to-be would be the best way to do that.
It doesn't take long for Dean to begin suspecting that some deity might have a bit of an unfair grudge towards him, especially when he ends up getting lost in one of the periodical storms washing over that region, is almost squished flat by a tree collapsing on his head, and is assaulted by a random cranky cobra.
Of course, being found by an unlikely rescuer might actually prove him wrong.Series
