ABANDONED
Severus has always felt ... off. If someone out there was responsible for his creation, when they had built him, they forgot something. Something everyone else seemed to have. Everyone else laughed and joked and little things made them happy, and Severus just couldn't. Content, he could be content. Lily made him content. She didn't make him happy. He should be content with being content but he's not and the worst part is he doesn't know how to fix it.
Then, one day, he found out what he had been missing. All it took was Slughorn getting drunk, a couple of unicorns, and a whole lot of pain. Definitely, a lot more than what he signed up for when he woke up that morning.

Summary
Gellert Grindelwald was known to dabble in dark magic but nothing like this. This was something new, this was the answer. In a hidden place in a forgotten language was a spell meant to call forth a creature who could rewrite history, its name lost to time but known by its eyes- a vibrant green that existed far before the Killing Spell but seemed to possess the same skill. Gellert was playing with fire, but he'd burn to see his future become his again.

Summary
Regulus Black wrote two letters that day. He was a well-educated Pureblood man; he was fond of the poetic and ironic which is what he drew from when he wrote his taunt to Lord Voldemort. That second letter, the letter he hid because even in death he could not stand the embarrassment if they knew, knew a Pureblood man could also be a scared vulnerable 18-year-old kid. How much he just wanted his older brother, the one no one even admits that he has.

As a ferryman, Wade’s Wilson role in the cosmos is to usher people from life into death. If asked how he feels about this profoundly important role that he’s played since the dawn of time, Wade would tell it to you straight: It is insanely, mind-numbingly boring.
Until it isn’t.
No one is supposed to be able to see Wade until the moments leading up to their death. So how is it that Spider-Man keeps noticing him and then not, you know, dying? It makes no sense! Curious and more than a little intrigued, Wade gives chase and discovers that Spider-Man not only sees him, he likes him, too.
What’s a lonely, adrift ferryman to do but fall chaotically, consumingly in love with him?

Summary
Peter Parker's life doesn't need an influx of new, distinctly spidery Spider-Man powers. He would gladly spend the rest of his days not creating tiny spiders from nowhere, for example. Like, in a, "yes please, I'll take two orders of the 'no spider-parenthood lifestyle,' hold the whip" kind of way. And that's only the start of how certifiably nuts his life has gotten lately.
But... okay, the spiders are pretty cute. And the other powers, well, aren't horrible. He supposes. And if Deadpool seems to think his new spidery skills are great and interesting and hot (which is weird, but not as objectionable as Peter would expect), that's... that's not so horrible, either.
Alternatively: Peter's powers are a joke, he's broke, and his love life... isn't all that DOA.

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.
