Summary
Eito had never known that Takumi could be touchy with him. He had never allowed himself to imagine that there might ever be a day that Takumi would willingly touch him without being tricked into it, knew that he would die without Takumi daring to stretch out his hand. To learn that there was a Takumi out there that would do all of that and more left him feeling…unmoored.

Summary
This series is just me doing a bit of canon divergence and making the 'other character' (mostly the antagonists) from the Canto a sinner instead. It's not exactly a swap because I'm not just putting the characters in each others roles: Kromer doesn't act like Sinclair because they swapped places. She still acts like Kromer, and Sinclair still acts like Sinclair.
It's a bit hard to explain. Read it if you want to see it in action ;)

… He’s determined that the easiest thing to do is not do anything at all, because for once, choosing whether or not to go to your dead end grocery store job that the Exodus Project so kindly set up for you will not determine the fate of the entire world. So don’t go. Stay at home where there’s no deciding which person to serve first, where there’s no chance that not cleaning the slicer properly will result in people sick or injured or dead.
It’s an homage to something he still remembers: It’s safe on this side of the door.
