A very good story. Best lore-based worldbuilding I've read that stays true to Dragon Age Inquisition timeline as well as an exploration of Thedas that was made to be unkind to mages. Portrays the faults and flaws of thedas, and that which amplified by a templar allied Inquisitor and Hawke, making a hostile environment full of period-fitting prejudices to make Emma's life difficult.

Least planned of all though is the unlikely partnership she forms with Anya kom Trikru. Grounder Princess versus Sky People Princess. They form a tentative alliance after proving themselves to each other, but then that's when things continue to derail. When Anya is shot, Clarke has to scramble to keep their tentative truce alive (as well as Anya), so that they can take on the mountain.
