"Oh, and stepping close to the edge. I don’t know much about New York, but I think it’s an unspoken rule to not do that. Just sayin’.” Peter questions that comment on not knowing about the city. But he hears it. It’s weird that he didn’t pick up the southern accent right away, but his mind was everywhere else but the male in front of him.
“Yeah. Unspoken.” Peter took another glance at the male and turned back to his thoughts, watching the edge with a yearning.
The train honked his way, and Peter saw the lights brighten the tunnel; he stepped back immediately. Feet finally stepped behind the yellow line, and he encountered the boy again. Their eyes met, while the train raced right on by.

I CANT PUT IT DOWN - currently on chapter 6 and it's just pure happiness right now. 😌 might be one of my top favs of the year. (Yes the year just started but it will remain my favorite throughout.) -
Summary
A set of stories transporting ER to the present day, introducing its Dr. John Carter to The Pitt's Dr. Dennis Whitaker. Any resemblance to Dr. Robby is coincidence...and occasionally kind of funny.
The main story I wanted to tell is done, so I've marked the series complete, but I reserve the right to return to this universe in the future. ;)
