Summary
Tim being biologically Dick's younger brother doesn't usually matter all that much - they were brothers before they found out about their connection. It doesn't matter except for when Dick talks about the circus and John and Mary and everything that came before.
When you add in a drunk Dick who feels safe enough to go down memory lane without the guilt and the grief crushing him, you get a whole lot of feels from Tim about what it was like to be raised alongside Dick Grayson and what it might've been like to grow up with him.

Summary
A short, mean, and disbelieving laugh bounces around the kitchen. “You’re joking.” Jason’s laughter turns into an outright cackle, and he has to put his coffee mug down on the counter to avoid spilling it.
“Back off.” Despite wanting to, Tim can’t hide the fact that his voice shakes, but suddenly his grip doesn’t. “Jason, I swear—”
“You gonna point that thing at me? You don’t even know what to do with it.”
The older boy is too close. Far too close. Tim flinches back, raises the gun, and without thinking about it presses it under Jason’s jaw.
All of a sudden, neither of them can breathe.
Jason’s eyes harden, glancing at the finger hovering over the trigger.
After a moment, Jason speaks up, almost softly— with how close they are, his voice doesn’t need to carry far. His voice goes flat. “This is hilarious.” The tone says otherwise.

OR: Tim has PTSD after the Titans Tower attack, and secretly keeps a gun — just in case. With Jason back in Gotham, “just in case” starts to feel more and more and more inescapable.Series

Summary
It’s the middle of the night and Tim has no idea why he’s outside the Wayne manor. He doesn’t remember the walk from the Drake residence to his neighbor’s, can’t fathom why he’s even here in nothing but a sleep shirt and boxers. He doesn’t recall vomiting, but clearly it happened, because he’s staring at a puddle of his own sick on the ground.
Dear god, he thought over the buzzing in his skull. I just threw up on Batman’s front steps.
Hurt and disoriented, Tim finds himself outside the Wayne Manor. Good thing there’s people inside who care about him.

Summary
“You were hurt.”
“I could have been faking that.”
“Why would he assume that you were—?”
"I did." Tim looks up at Bruce, then down again, he can’t hold the heavy eyes. He sucks in a sharp breath, exhales, wheezy and unhappy. He’s too exhausted to run around this, he just wants to lay down and go back to sleep. “When I was nine, I faked being sick, so they wouldn’t leave."
AKA: Jack Drake doesn't take Tim at his word about being sick anymore, which isn't normally a problem. Until Tim gets poisoned.

Your Name Is Tim
You are safe here. If you are scared, that is okay. If you do not remember anything, that is okay too. Call any of these numbers, they will answer and they will explain everything.
-
After Tim sustains a significant head injury, he goes through phases of amnesia and confusion and less commonly lucidity, and both he and his family have to work out ways to mitigate his symptoms while not knowing if this is simply his new normal, and they find that what helps most is a note he keeps in his pocket that he has trained himself to look for even when he doesn't remember why.Series
