Summer has arrived and life couldn't be better for James and his family. Excited for news about the soon-to-opened Space Hotel USA, James and his friends cannot help, but speculate what wonders await among the stars. Meanwhile, Optimus Prime and his Autobots are ready to aid the humans in protecting Earth from outside threats, but a surprise attack from the Decepticons sends the two warring factions crashing to Earth. And in the midst of the chaos, two extraordinary children will meet and form a friendship that will change the course of history forever.

Summary
After the Vermicious Knid attack on Space Hotel USA, astronauts Shuckworth, Showler, and Shanks are sent back to patrol the skies and make sure all is clear for the hotel's opening. Unfortunately, a run-in with an asteroid storm sends them crashing onto a nearby planet, where they are found by a race of sentient robots from the distant planet of Cybteron.
Cared for by the benevolent Autobots, the three astronauts are amazed by the technological world and the beings who call it home. However, all is not as peaceful as it appears; the war with the Decepticons rages on and it won't be long before Megatron sets his sights on Earth.

Summary
All cybertronians have ingrained in their very sparks an absolute repulsion towards hurting sparklings and a base need to protect and care for them. This is standard to most species, though cybertronians seem to feel it more than others; a command rather than a request. This is perhaps nature’s way of ensuring that the few sparklings that come into the world remain safe and cared for. It is logical. However, no one expected sparkling protocols to take over when cybertronians first came in contact with humans. Perhaps humans and cybertronians are more closely related than first thought.

Summary
Running even lower on fuel than they were used to, the rest of the team heads out to see if they can locate any remaining energon deposits that hadn't already been scouted by the Decepticons.
Meanwhile, Ratchet, running on fumes, manages comms for the mission and finds himself lost in thought at his operations console until the human children contact him for an after school portal to the base, feeling similarly more run down than usual.
Eventually, Ratchet and the kids give in to their need for a nap.
