Summary
Ilya Rozanov is a depressed, struggling artist in New York.
He paints portrait after portrait of his mother, terrified that one day he will forget her face.
He refuses to sell them, even knowing that he needs the money. He sells himself instead.
When Kip, another artist at his Co-op artist workshop brings his friend Shane to look at his work, Ilya is immediately enraptured by the man's beauty.
Shane begins modeling for Ilya, and Ilya begins to find meaning in living again.
