Summary
a desperate human is far more dangerous than any dragon
When given a choice between all he's ever known, and the wilderness beyond it, Hiccup chooses the latter. Now, five years later, he has abandoned humanity, mimicking the behaviours of his brother - Toothless - and the rest of their flock. Content to leave his entire childhood in the past, Hiccup is dragged back into fifteen years of unpleasant memories when his peers from Berk crash into his new home. He soon finds his allegiances split between the new life he has built for himself, and the one he abandoned.
Berk is starving, plagued by constant dragon raids and empty seas. The heir to the chiefdom, Astrid, leads the expedition to find the famed dragon master, and beg for his help in stopping the raids. Little does she know, behind the mask, is somebody she's been mourning for years.

After Loki found out his true parentage and was cast off the bifrost into the expanse of space, he was caught by Thanos and the Chatauri. Now he invades Earth under the control of the mad titan, but little does Thanos know Loki has plans of his own. Captured then by the Avengers and fighting for something greater to him then the fate of Midgard or any of the other nine realms, Loki has to be liberated from the prison his mind and body have become before he can liberate those that were imprisoned far before Thanos ever got his hands on the god.
In this alternate universe I explore the possibility of the world we know and love except with a Loki that has had children like in the myths, and is willing to do anything to rescue them.

Hiccup had always thought the gods laughed at him. After a bored Loki teleports Berk and a few more people to a random room in order to 'watch the future' he is certain of it. Plucked from just before trying to tame a Monstrous Nightmare he is not happy. Especially because of the whole technically being a traitor thing. Which they would likely find out, which is great.

Venti sleeps peacefully in a green silk robe, the candlelight accentuating his body perfectly with it’s soft glow. The robe itself leaves nothing to imagination and Diluc finds himself having to control a desire creeping up within him. Still he stares, focusing on the slow rise and fall of his chest, his messy hair and just how beautiful he looked with no worries on his mind.
Diluc’s presence is what stirs him awake.
