As a homicide detective for KCPD Sebastian has seen more than a few suspicious deaths, but there’s something especially nefarious about his latest string of cases. As one crime scene leads to another, Sebastian and his partner Joseph are forced to question everything they know about Krimson City, the police department, and even themselves. Something is very wrong in the city they’ve sworn to protect, and the key to the whole case just might be one mysterious artist.
[Police drama/psychological thriller about our favorite pair of detectives and their unlikely artist companion that takes place in late 2015 in an alternate universe to the game. This story will deal heavily with themes of suicide, trauma, and mental illness and will include eventual romance between Sebastian and Stefano.]

Summary
Sebastian Castellanos may have survived Beacon, but he can’t escape the trauma that follows his experience in STEM and the destruction of his family. When he pulls into a wayside off a deserted highway, it is with the darkest of purposes. However, before Sebastian can follow through with his plan, he is interrupted by an enigmatic stranger, and the two of them soon find themselves in a struggle for their lives and their sanity that rivals anything that happened in STEM.
[SteSeb psychological horror/adventure story with slow burn romance. AU that takes place during the same timeframe as the second game. Technically a crossover, as this story is set in Silent Hill, but it does not feature any characters or lore from that series beyond the concept of the town itself. Includes canon-typical violence, disturbing themes, and explicit sexual content. POV alternates between Seb and Stefano.]

When his daughter, Lily, is kidnapped, the last place Sebastian would turn for help is to Stefano Valentini, the murderer and self-proclaimed artistic visionary he put behind bars years ago. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and Stefano does seem to have a peculiar insight into the kidnapper’s mind. All he asks in return are a few of Sebastian’s memories, a little of Sebastian’s pain. Perhaps it takes a criminal to know a criminal or perhaps Stefano is somehow in on the whole plot, but Sebastian comes to rely on him, even as he is drawn deeper and deeper into Stefano’s web. After all, he can’t risk losing his sole lead in the most important case of his life...and his only chance to save Lily.

He should be tired, should be barely able to stand, but he feels somehow energized, as though he has drawn strength from the beauty he has created, and that excitement crackles through him like static electricity.
Even with the thrill of creation fueling him, he must admit that the basement is very drafty in the winter, and in his thin shirt and trousers, he is thoroughly chilled. Fortunately at this time on a Saturday morning, he has the perfect remedy for that.

[When Sebastian discovers a badly-injured Stefano in Theodore's dungeon, it's the beginning of a lengthy healing process and a very different journey through STEM to rescue Lily. Contains canon-typical violence and graphic descriptions of heavy torture, aftermath of torture, and injuries. No non-con between Seb and Stefano. There is explicit content and hurt-comfort everywhere in this story, but chapters 1-22 are more of the action/adventure genre, while 23-46 could be described as domestic/romance/recovery.]

It's taken him two years to establish some sense of stability, but now he can feel the world shifting around him, and he’s sure that he’s heading down the rabbit hole again.
