Summary
Anakin Falls on the battlefield, on a small dusty planet in the Mid Rim that’s largely unimportant in the grand scale of the war. His men are dying in scores around him, screaming, spilling their guts onto the pockmarked ground, and something that has been pulling tighter and tighter over the course of the war, over the course of his whole life—between one decapitated droid and the next, something snaps in his chest. He doesn't know it, but he's more than a year early.
Or: Anakin navigates the path from straight up not noticing, to denial, to buying a pair of ugly sunglasses to hide his unfortunate Darksider eye condition, to a number of Sith lords dying in uniquely creative ways. If he reaches acceptance, it just might save the galaxy.

Summary
The gods have no idea just how human demi-gods actually are. In fact demi-gods are considered to be an entirely different species. Not god, not human.
They don't know a thing about their children. So demi-gods are more like monsters or wild creatures. Demi-gods that have never made it to camp are considered to be "Feral", and after they make it through Chirons little sanctuary they're then considered "Domesticated".
Percy, after the death of his mom when he was 10, promptly killed his step-father in retaliation and is off living on the streets. It's certainly not unusual. Many demi-gods feel the urge to leave their mortal parents nest. Too restless for the humans form of living.
That said, Poseidon is none too pleased at having lost Percy. Worse still, he doesn't know the kind of damage the Percy could do out in the wild without the guiding hand of Chiron. It is why he had urged Sally to give the pup up sooner. She should have had a couple more years for her to keep it. But fate had other plans, and now the beast is out in the world with no way for Poseidon to track it. -

Summary
Jaskier gets jumped by a bunch of bandits, who happen to be so dumb as to stab him with an ancient artifact. When he wakes up, the bandits are slaughtered, and Jaskier has a new hunger. He decides he can't and won't live like this, and searches out a witcher to kill him when he's unsuccessful himself. Of course......he finds Geralt, or does Geralt find him?

When Jaskier wakes up, the light is uncommonly bright to his eyes, and he has to squint against it. He’s not sure he remembers going to sleep the previous night, and briefly accuses himself of gulping down the bottle of Toussainti wine he’d filched from the inn, leaving a few crowns in its place.He rubs his hands over his face, and realises that as he does so, the strange metallic scent that hangs in the air gets stronger. When he pulls his hands away to look at his palms, he stiffens. There are red stains on the skin, some of it dried and flaking in the creases.
It’s very definitely not wine.
