Sylvain smiles as he watches Felix squirm on the sofa next to him, a scowl on his pretty face, cheeks ever so slightly flushed a delicate pink. Around them, everyone else is oblivious to his plight, carrying on pleasant, idle chatter. Soft Christmas music plays in the background, a low hum under the murmur of a dozen-and-a-half voices.
No one pays any attention as Sylvain’s hand slips into his jacket pocket, a small remote tucked inside. He presses a button at random, watching out of the corner of his eye as Felix fights back the urge to jolt, legs pressing tight together. Eyes full of fury and murder falling on Sylvain, easily ignored as the redhead nods along to whatever Felix’s grandma is telling him about her trip down south to visit her sister over Thanksgiving.
How Sylvain managed to convince Felix to play this game, he’ll never know, simply content to accept the blessing the Goddess deigned to bestow upon him.
