Summary
Caitlyn had come to realize that Vi had two moods when it came to sex. Soft, gentle, tender sex, the kind that came on slow and warm and left them both smiling softly at each other. Caitlyn quite liked the rhythm of it, how Vi was so careful. It suited them. They spent most nights wrapped up in each other this way, tending to feelings and holding one another afterwards.

That throws you for another loop. If this is how she treats the people she’s flirting with, how exactly does she treat the people she sincerely cares for? You’re not sure you want to find out. “You’ve been flirting this entire time?”
“Uh, yeah.” Haley rolls her eyes, leveling you with a look that tells you she thinks you're stupid.

"No matter how desperate I get," Shadowheart says through gritted teeth, "I'm not that desperate."
But her body is betraying her. It's responding to Lae'zel's suggestion, rising like a well-stoked fire, and Lae'zel lowers herself to the ground near Shadowheart's feet. Shadowheart's legs shift to accommodate her in an instinct so bone-deep that she can't stop it before Lae'zel is filling the space.
"Give in to your desires, istik. Submit to me. In my experience," Lae'zel says, crawling slowly up Shadowheart's willing body, "the hatred will only make it sweeter."

Written (as always!) in response to a prompt on the Dragon Age Kinkmeme. On one of his earlier escape attempts from the Circle, Anders makes it as far as Tevinter, but it's not the liberation he'd hoped for. Many years later, as part of Danarius's retinue, he meets up with the gang in Kirkwall during Act 3--but as a very different man. Hawke often enjoyed exploration after a skirmish, to cool his blood by picking through a vanquished foe’s meaningless effects. There were times when Fenris permitted it as a personal indulgence, and times when, for whatever reason, he did not.
