“Christ kid, can’t you see that they’ve brainwashed you?!” Jake hadn't meant to sound forceful, but he couldn’t help it.
This is all wrong, he wants to yell.
“What? Because I finally found probably the only people that actually love me, people that See me, care for my well-being and who I am; I must be brainwashed. Is that it?” Spider shot back.
The Sully patriarch and former Olo’eyktan could only look at him in shock. He was no longer the child he knew back then. The skin that was once tan with blue stripes is now dulled to an ashy gray tone with pitch black markings. Those familiar brown eyes which used to shine at Jake in adoration now stare with a cold, unfeeling gaze. Jake only wants to help Spider, the kid’s gotta know that. He has to know that he’s just trying to fix him.
“But of course, you never cared before so why would you care now, am I right?”
OR
Where a lone human boy is raised by the wrong people; the Ash Na’vi. However, Spider ended up learning what love and family meant for the first time in his life. In the end, this turns into quite a unique take on Avatar: The Way of Water. The Sullys had a chance but failed, and now they may come to regret it.

Summary
Spider has a secret.
He has two, really, but only one of them is actually a secret. He just calls the other secret because it’s something that is simultaneously acknowledged and ignored.
The first secret is that almost every night, whenever he can find time to sneak away from either the scientists or the Omaticaya- which is often- he climbs the trees so he can look at the stars.
The second secret- the one that isn’t technically a secret- is closely interlinked to the first. It’s not that they’re similar, or that one caused the other, but rather that through one, he found the other. The second secret is that he, Spider, doesn’t belong.

Summary
Though one part of this boy would be kept from her until his death, she would ensure that he would also live as he was always destined to, as a son of Eywa and one of The People.
She could not directly change the possible futures that would befall his Skyself but she could provide him with a future.
*Eywa gives Spider a family, actually, she gives him two. This boy deserves a better hand than he was dealt and so I thought I'd give one...no, two?
Yes there will be romance but all characters will be of age, non-explicit and generally well functioning relationships.

Summary
In Avatar the Way of Water the kids are captured until Jake and Neytiri show up to rescue them. What if Lo'ak was also captured alongside Spider. When the RDA's aircraft is taken down after a few too many minutes in the mountains, Quaritch is forced to camp alongside his prisoners before successfully bringing them back to their base. Quaritch wants to use Lo'ak as a bargaining piece, but the Navi refuse to cooperate. They launch attacks, attempting to draw nearer to their son.

"Nathaniel's dead" his mother whispered harshly as she pulled him onto the plane away from Baltimore, away from his nightmares. Of course, not everything in Baltimore had been a nightmare, because there had also been Nathaniel. Nathaniel who had been willing to take their father's punishments so Noah wouldn't have to, who would make up stories as they laid side by side in bed, whose smile would make any similarities to their father's face fade. But now, when Nathaniel's face is plastered across the Exy magazines, Noah has never been more aware of what his relative freedom has truly cost. His brother's eyes glint with a barely contained bitterness, but he's alive and now Noah will do just about anything to get his brother back.
Alternating perspectives and timelines. So many OCs (Ravens, Hatfords and Vixens). Conversations on names and their connection to identity. Melodramatic and self-indulgent as hell. Andriel endgame but no interaction between them at all until chapter 6 so felt wrong to tag them.
