Nick registered legs first—long, lean, muscular. Then the rest of him. He was tall—maybe just a bit shorter than Nick—dressed in a deep navy suit that managed to hug in all the right places. His skin was light olive toned, his cheekbones were maddening, and his hair—Christ, his hair—was thick, black, and curly, like he’d just come from some effortlessly sexy shampoo commercial.
But it was the eyes that did it.
Nick felt his body betray him in real time. His palms went hot. His mouth went dry. Something stirred low in his belly, and fuck, he had to will his dick not to get involved. Because this was not okay. This was a work meeting. This was public. And the man hadn’t even said a word yet.

Charlie’s face is all but scarlet now. “Well, I’ve been thinking, and I really do think we might like it if we tried out some new things, and— and,” he says, rambling, “and some of the things I’d want to try, they’re, like—.” He cuts himself off, then blows out a big breath, like he’s struggling to get the words out. “Don’t freak out, okay?” he asks, peeking up at Nick’s face. His voice has gone a bit high, and his eyes a bit wide.
“I wont,” Nick promises.
“Like— I wanna try some things that are, kinda… well. Kinky, I guess.”
Nicks feels his brain crash. “Oh, um,” he starts, not even sure what he’s about to say. He’s pretty sure he’s working up a matching flush in record time. “Like what?” he asks.
Charlie groans in embarrassment and slumps forward, burying his hot face in the pillows. His voice is sort of muffled by them when he says, “Like… like, I think it would be hot if you, y’know, told me what to do sometimes.”
