Fucking Keith was a lot like fighting with him, Lance found, and since they’d been having sex, their arguments were basically reduced to zero. They were on the same page more now than ever before. It made leading the team so much easier because when they did have a disagreement, they weren’t arguing about it in front of everyone else. “Keith,” he called out again, louder now. “Keith, —”
Keith stirred weakly.
A broken sound left his throat, somewhere between a groan and a breath. His head rolled slightly toward Lance, eyes fluttering open for half a second before slipping shut again. He was being half-dragged, half-carried by the Galran guards as he slipped in and out of consciousness. The blood dripped down from the wound on his head, past his eye and down to his chin.
Lance decided that he would do whatever he had to do to keep them together. They cannot get separated. Keith needs him. He can’t lose Keith.
“That’s it,” Lance said, voice shaking. “That’s it, okay? You’re doing great. Just—just keep breathing.”
Keith and Lance end up stranded on a planet after a mission goes wrong.
But that's only where their troubles begin.
Captured and tortured relentlessly, Keith finds something out about himself that shocks him to his core.
Terrified and delirious, Lance doesn't take it too well.
