A few months have passed since your bassist showed you the picture of you and Aizawa napping together. While you originally thought about reaching out to him, you decided against it, eventually forgetting about it altogether. His name had all but left your life- until Midnight stopped by Limelight to see Present Mic during his airtime. She wanted his help to look out for the 1A teacher and hero, and somehow, it all seemed to fall on you. After all- Aizawa already helped you once. Surely he would do it again- especially if it meant protecting you from a stalker.

Summary
While Aizawa was falling in love, Yamada was left with less and less time with his best friend- something they didn't have that much of to begin with. Despite being cohorts at U.A., their schedules didn't overlap much, making his absence even more noticeable to the Voice Hero. At first he didn't think much of it, but as Aizawa built up his romantic relationship, Yamada started feeling lonely, and from that loneliness, had to learn how to be supportive and process the complexity of his feelings and emotions separately.
***This fic compliments the 12 Days of Christmas (Aizawa x Reader) story. I've wanted to write a piece that addresses how Yamada felt throughout it for a long time, especially since watching your best friend fall in love can stir complex feelings of simultaneous joy and jealousy. The timeline for this story begins in December around the time that Aizawa and the reader of 12 Days of Christmas first start meeting on their nightly patrols.***

You’d spent that last 18 months on tour with your band, RUSE. Not only were you their lead singer and second guitar- you were the very reason for the namesake. After all, your quirk was just a ruse, wasn’t it? The band quickly grew in popularity thanks to your connections in the entertainment industry. Your uncle was the owner of a successful venue in Tokyo named Limelight, and it was there that many musicians made their first entrance into the real world of rock ‘n’ roll.
Following the night of your last show, you met with your band manager. What was supposed to be a time of great relief and joy quickly turned somber. As fate would have it, you were returning home just in time for a funeral.

They’ve been together for a couple years, and he’s kept it hidden that’s he’s a werewolf the entire time, but one day, he slips up. He’s still in control enough to speak, but he’s soooo much more susceptable to falling prey to the inner beast. He asks her to leave in order to protect her, but she downright refuses because she fucking loves him and wants to work through this together to help him and so it’s not something that ends up breaking their incredible relationship farther down the road. BONUS: HE IS STILL A CAT LOVER AS A WEREWOLF.
