Lois’ eyes sparkled in playful amusement, “What if we just ordered a pizza and had some wine?” She reached around Clark to pull out the bottle, swishing it teasingly.
Clark caught her wrist in that painfully gentle way he always did whenever he touched her, and then slid his hand up to loop around the neck of the bottle, cupping the back of her hand in his palm, “Really, we’ve got a whole fridge full of food?”
