At first Lena didn’t believe it. Supergirl, dead? Just like that? Impossible. But then DEO agents rushed the scene and took the body away and Lena stared at the screen, tears she didn’t feel dripping from her eyes. She grabbed her phone and dialled Kara’s number. It rang and rang and rang, finally going to voicemail. Lena tried twelve more times until the phone was switched off and it no longer rang.
They had two funerals for her. One for Kara; one for Supergirl.

Supergirl dies fighting a kryptonite mutant. Lena spends the next five years developing the very first time machine. The only problem is that she can't send herself back, only her memories. So she sends them, and she hopes that her past self with her current memories has what it takes to save Kara.

The fragile tone in Kara’s voice makes the corner of her lips turn up, so she bites her bottom one, arms coming to cross in front of her chest, and tilts her head to the side.
Kara stops pacing and actually smiles when the puppy squirms, trying to find a better position. He ends up with his belly upwards and snout in the crook of Kara’s elbow.
“You might have done something?”
“Did you know there was this dog adoption at the park this afternoon?”

Summary
A Supergirl series with less misogyny, and focused on more feminist views like we were used to from season one. Each work is an episode, and remains in style with how the show is. There will be more scenes focused on the softer, more social sides of Supergirl (ie movie nights, dates, etc). They are all connected, and many will end with a scene to lead into the next work.
