Summary
The Spire of Deceit. The Spire of Knowledge. The Spire of Shadows. Whatever name it bore, it was known for one peculiarity:
Time and Space—past, present, and future—could all converge at once.
Normally, this was of no great concern. Unless a soul became truly lost within its halls, the illusions of past and future were little more than curiosity. A nuisance, at worst.
So when the Fount of Knowledge looked up to find his future self pinning his alternate-universe counterpart against the roof of his own Spire, hip thrusting and moaning his own name—gravity an afterthought, dignity a distant memory—he became, for the first time in several centuries, profoundly concerned.

Summary
The weight was…lighter than he expected.
The baby in his arms had soft, slightly messy dirty-blonde hair and tan dough, faintly golden under the moonlight. Tiny freckles dotted his cheeks and nose, and on his forehead rested a small, star-shaped mark. A faint scent of vanilla rose from him.
The Fount studied him carefully.
“A Vanillian,” he murmured.
Judging by his size and development, the child was perhaps a week old—no more. The Vanillian tribe was still relatively new, only a few hundred years into its existence. He had read about them extensively, of course.
His gaze flicked briefly to the others still in First Milk’s arms. He recognized hints of cacao, cheese, and other emerging civilizations.
Interesting.

Summary
Viridescent scans the room, booming with confidence he never knew he possessed. Even if his mind doubted his true desires, his heart always knew, and his heart pulled him towards a certain actor he had the pleasure of interacting with months ago--to put it simply, he had grown rather infatuated after a long conversation about stage design.
Two fingers gently tap Ad-Lib's shoulder to get his attention, and the second that attention was caught he blurted out his innermost desires:
"If you would allow it, I would like to marry you."The next day, he wakes up to the knowledge he is engaged and is expected to properly court the actor to make up for the sudden proposal, the problem being he felt like a bundle of nerves and a love sick fool. How could he romance Ad-Lib of all people?

Summary
The mortal does not merely wish to survive. He insists on shaping the terms of his living. Refusing to be dictated to, constrained, or finished by forces beyond his understanding.
It is fierce, futile, and impractical.
It is utterly magnetic.Or,
He who plays the role of a king on the edge of his own destruction, on the road to his finale, rouses something that has been long-slumbering in the forest, for longer than living memory can recall.
This is that scene they shared.

Summary
There’s a sound itching at the back of his mind, a soft repetition that’s forcing Pure Vanilla’s eyes back open with its unfamiliarity. He mumbles a groan, pushing himself up in bed as he brushes back the hair from his forehead and reaches for the staff beside him. As his hand finds purchase, he lifts it up high and scans the room around him.
Pure Vanilla’s vision may still be blurred from blinking back sleep, but there’s a familiar blue form seated at his dresser.
“Shadow Milk Cookie?”
The form turns; bright white hair sways from the movement, spilling over slender shoulders and adorned with a large blue bow. Sharp eyes peer at him, framed by an unkind smile curved in a smirk.
“Aw,” is all but sneered. “Miss him already?”

The fae cannot lie—but that does not make them honest. Bound to truth, yet they embrace deceit.
Many believe creatures who cannot lie must be easy to outwit. Those mortals rarely survive long enough to regret the mistake, for the fae’s games are cruel, precise, and merciless—and every grave consequence is earned without a single false word spoken.

Summary
Blueberry Milk did not get sick, he was the Sage of Truth, immortal holder of the souljam of Truth, he could be struck down by no curse, no mortal mould. It would be ridiculous to assume otherwise, he just had a headache is all. Overwork, and stress from the effort of finding the cure to such a dangerous affliction.
There was no possible way it could be anything else.

Aka. Sage of Truth gets sick, and this becomes Truthless Recluse’s problem. Featuring an excess of plot, and some ‘Beasts’ as family, because… uh. Actually nevermind, don’t question it.

Sage did not need it explained to him that coming here was a bad idea, that much had been clear from his first steps into it, he also did not need to be told that his friends mysteriously disappearing was a very bad sign, because that was entirely obvious.
No, what needed to be explained to him was why someone was singing in the middle of nowhere, and why was it making him feel so distinctly odd.

Summary
Elder Faerie let out a long, slow breath, allowing himself a moment of grief. Just how could it possibly have gotten so bad, so fast? These Cookies, noble Cookies, sent down by the Witches themselves… They hadn’t deserved to fall from grace like this. Agony had made their reactions to tragedy and lethargy impulsive, but their hearts, their cores — those were still pure. Full of hope, and love for Cookiekind.
Lingering on such questions, he imagined, would avail him naught.

Summary
Three weeks, that’s how long it took for the public to turn on the virtues. Their prayers weren’t answered as they liked. Their questions were no longer placated. Their faith was crushed between venomous words and vile rumors.
The virtues were hunted down like cattle.

Summary
Three brush strokes to the right. Two to the left. A hand smoothing over his forehead, sweeping his bangs aside.
Shadow Milk knows the pattern well. His hair is always brushed the same way, in movements that seem almost robotic in how perfectly they’ve mastered the repetition. The bristles of the brush always skim over his closed eyes with such care, nimbly avoiding anywhere they might prick or poke. It always ends with a few final touches, tucking any stray wisps back into place before the brush is set back down on the dresser before him.
Pure Vanilla’s hands smooth through Shadow Milk’s hair, coming to rest gently on his shoulders.
“There. Ready for the day?”
Shadow Milk does not answer.
Shadow Milk has not answered in a long, long time.

Summary
The room is too bright.
It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.
It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.
With one sweep of his cane, Shadow Milk tears it apart.

Summary
At the cusp of defeat, Shadow Milk gets transported to a backwards world: Dark Enchantress was sealed away before she could do any lasting damage, the Beasts never came to be, and the Ancients rule over an otherwise peaceful world.
Oh, and apparently his counterpart is dead and hailed as a hero. Because his life wasn’t already complicated enough.
OR
What happens when the guy who basically saved all of cookiekind comes back as an evil, corrupted version of himself?

Summary
Two small, white puppet-like creatures stare at him. Stitched crosses bore down on him, weighed with the same feeling that he had felt for years, eyes that were never really there watching his every move. Twin heads mimicked his movements, joining Brian in his curiosity.
They feel familiar. Humming aloud in agreement to the voice that sounded right behind his eyes, their head tilted in the other direction and a brief smile cracked open behind the fabric mask as the puppets mimicked him once more. Like Him.
...
You know, Hoodie begins as Brian crouches in front of a tangled mess of roots, head tilted to the side as he engages in what could only be called a staring contest with the puppets in front of them, They're kinda cute, in a way.
