In the North, the waters are frozen. Tui's light touches down on glistening waves of frozen white. Frozen, as it has been for eighty years now, eighty out of one hundred years now.
The Avatar has returned.
And the waves grow larger, and the tides grow stronger, and the ice will burn as surely as the water will drown.
They had waited for him, they had waited one hundred years for him.
Seasons change and—
The gaang has made it North with Fire trailing in their wake. Red and Black and...Blue.

Summary
Apollo had learned many things from mortality.
The Jacksons would teach him even more.Apollo had completed his trials, and he'd learned his lesson - even if it was not the one his father intended to teach him. He wanted to do better, to become better than the god he had been before. So... child support, he could do that. Easy, right?
And if in this attempt to grow and become better than he was he realized just how completely terrible of a being he was... that was fine too. But unfortunately (fortunately?), being sad even remotely in vicinity of the Jacksons was a known danger. They would find out and they would make you feel better, with time.

A threat, that Zuko had freed. Zuko hadn’t meant to, but like most things in his life that didn’t really matter. Because he still did. He had rescued the Avatar and maybe his friends…and a little Earth Kingdom girl. It just sort of happened.
Now Zuko may have started a religion, and could possibly be dead and a spirit-the Blue Spirit. Well if he is, then may as well fight he might as well keep trying; because you never give up. Never Give Up Without A Fight.

Percy knew he was in over his head even before a group of men, dressed like they were going to win an ancient Greek costume competition, stepped into the cave.

When Percy was knocked out on Polyphemus' Island while trying to save his friends, he had no idea that waking up in ancient Greece was an outcome he had to prepare for.
But here he was, sailing across an unknown sea with a very well known ancient hero, reenacting the Odyssey (of which he knew far to little) and trying not to die. Fun times.
Meeting the gods (who were wilder, younger and way more vengeful) while attempting to not mess up the future was just the top of the metaphorical iceberg.The only good thing? Dreaming about a rather cute boy who always made him smile...
