Summary
Sokka receives an offer of an arranged marriage from the Northern Water Tribe. On the one hand, accepting would strengthen ties between their tribes. On the other hand, Chief Arnook has suggested Hahn as a potential match, and Hahn sucks. But with the future of the Southern Water Tribe Reconstruction project relying heavily on the good will of the North, Sokka doesn’t know how to say no.
(Katara doesn’t have to deal with this. Katara is dating the Avatar.)
Zuko has a solution. Sokka just wishes he’d realized he was in love with the Fire Lord before he agreed to pretend to date him.

suki sits outside yue’s window. she’s wedged between a few thick branches, twigs in her hair, and the early evening wind brushes through her hair like fingers running through sand. if she takes her earbuds out she can hear yue inside, hurriedly changing from pajamas to jeans and a crop top. the rustling of clothes, the quiet pop of a lipstick container being opened.
the summer night air sits heavily on her shoulders, humidity waiting to fall into dew. it smells like nostalgia for something suki doesn't remember.

The point is Sokka's flirting is about as subtle as a buffalo yak. To miss it, you’d have to be a complete and utter airhead.

He’s being altogether too nice about this. It’s making Zuko feel vulnerable. He makes sure the next thing he says is a little colder.
“Well, I don’t… he didn’t succeed. And I don’t really know about the first time."
Sokka’s eyes get harder. There it is. The fight he’s looking for. Hopefully Sokka will tell him off for his tone and then give it up. and then Zuko can spend a few hours pacing around with adrenaline and memories before he’s finally able to get any sleep.
“When?”
And, well, that’s not the response he expected.

Zuko could practically see Suki's coy smirk from the corner that he'd jammed himself into.
"Oh, she's a new recruit," Suki whispered to Sokka, making sure the young Firelord could hear it. "She's a good fighter, but she's terribly shy."
When his friends finally glanced towards him, Zuko jerked his neck so they could only see his right side, but made sure that his kohl-rimmed glare was pointed straight at the Kyoshi warrior.
He was never going to live this down.(Suki dolls up the Firelord, and Sokka finds himself with a crush.)
