Summary
You have probably heard of the Grim Reaper.
Perhaps you've heard that there are several reapers, each responsible for guiding souls into the afterlife.
And you'd be right.
There are multiple reapers in this world. In fact, every mortal has their own.
A reaper is assigned to a human at birth, watching over them throughout their mortal life. When that human finally dies, their reaper guides their soul into the afterlife. Once their duty is complete, the reaper is reincarnated and assigned to a newly born human.
It's a never-ending cycle.
So, why is this important?
Well, today, we're going to look into the life of one particular reaper.
Nakahara Chuuya.
And, unfortunately for him, his assigned mortal seems to have a rather irritating habit of constantly evading death.

There was an uproar in the agency. You couldn’t distinguish any single voice amongst the cacophony. Everybody was screaming over each other, and Dazai felt like his ear drums might burst.
There was an open envelope and letter discarded on the floor. The letter, which was crumpled and had a few rips at the edge, was being stepped on carelessly by the detectives.
It read ‘I know who has the Book -Fyodor Dostoevsky’.

He just has one question: Why hasn't the man hurt him yet?ORRRR: Chuuya, youngest Port Mafia boss in history and former test subject, asks, "Is anyone gonna properly care for this traumatized child?" and doesn't wait for an answer.
