His blood smeared the stone and seeped into the grooves left by expert hands. Alastor pulled his glove off and wrapped it in a quick cover of gauze for now.
“Whosoever offers themselves for thy King, shall bleed on this stone and offer themselves as his bride to be judged. If thy King finds thy true and perfect, thy blood shall sing his praises and bring joy to his kingdom.” He murmured aloud and found the next text, presumably apart of the blood ritual.
“King of the Morning Star,” he called out in the room. “Thy servant offers themselves, body, mind and soul. Judge me perfect and I will bear your heirs and worship thy body and offer mine for thy pleasure for the rest of eternity. Find me good for thy love and I will love thee in return.”
But Alastor was distracted by more art and script. Everything showing how if a bride was chosen, there would a celebration, a joining ceremony to show the bride’s submission and successful coupling with the King. Then the bride drinks what looks like poison from a chalice from the King. The script called it ascension, immortality granted. Afterwards more depictions and script of sex, a pregnant bride and a child birthed.- Language:

Summary
Tucked away on a cliffside sat the village of Aerion — a small and remote town that had been abandoned by the Gods ages ago. There were only two means to leave this place: a plummet to the withering ocean and the entrance to a forest that no human returned from. Summary
After years of planning and building, Lucifer's new cabin in Bayou Corkwood is finally finished and a whole summer of nothing but his own company and the gentle, loving sounds of nature await him.
There seems to be only one problem. Something else lives in the bayou. Something intelligent with a voice that tickles across Lucifer's senses until he can't think straight. A beast with a touch as teasing and grounding as lapping shores.
