“Baz.” My new roommate says.
“What?”
“Baz. That’s my name.” he hasn’t stopped sneering at me.
“Oh…” I really don’t know what else to say. Why can't my brain come up with words?
“You should get dressed.” Baz says and then turns and walks out the door, slamming it behind him.
Fuck.

Simon, who has spent his whole child and teenhood having to move around all over the world with his father, never spending more than a few months in one place, is ready to settle down in one place. He gets into a good uni, gets into uni housing and searches for a job. Now, he's determined to find a good group of friends, but he may get more than what he's asking for.

Summary
Baz and I never fight. We fought each other with our fists as kids and our words as teens. In the first year of our relationship, we didn’t fight at all, we sat in silence instead. Now, instead of fighting, we can talk it through. Like adults.

Summary
Even with the covers over my head, I can still feel Snow's eyes on me. After a moment, when I hope he has closed his eyes again, I poke my wand out of the covers, pointed at him.
“Sleep, my child, and peace attend thee all through the night.” I say, with magick. It’s a sickeningly sweet spell, quoted from a lullaby mothers sing to children, (so Snow hopefully wouldn’t even recognise it on the off chance he did hear it), and it can be used only on someone you have genuine affection for.
I know I didn’t get away with casting it against his knowledge because I hear him say “huh?” before, I assume, he falls right asleep.
I pull the covers off from over my head and sneak a peek. I’m right, out like a light. “Finally.” I mumble.

When Simon stays awake longer than is convenient, Baz decides to spell him to sleep. But when Simon has a nightmare later that night, Baz offers his comfort.

Summary
I run towards him, and it occurs to me that this could be some kind of trap, but even if it was I would run towards him anyway, so I keep running.
When I skid to a stop next to him, he doesn’t even flinch. I lean down towards him and not even a flicker of his eyelids.
Baz is lying there, eyes closed, one arm over his stomach with the other to his side, with the sun shining on his face.
I lean towards him and he doesn’t even budge. For a second I think he might actually be dead, and my job is complete, but that doesn’t sit right in my stomach, it feels off.

“Could I get a name for the order?” Marlene asked.
“Serious,” the man replied. “Like the star,” he clarified, and Remus mentally scratched out 'Serious' and rewrote 'Sirius' in his head.
“The… star?” Marlene asked, her pen hovering over the cup as she hesitated.
“S-I-R-I-U-S,” Remus said. He stocked croissants into the display case, not looking up. “The Dog Star,” he added, “brightest star in the sky, actually. Visible from both hemispheres.” When he looked over, the man– Sirius– seemed surprised, his eyebrows raised as Remus spoke, and when Remus finished, he blinked a few times before smiling lopsidedly.
“Er– yeah,” he breathed a laugh. “That.” There was a baby on his hip. Somehow, it had taken Remus a second glance to notice that.

Or, Remus works as a barista and Sirius comes in every morning with the world's cutest baby, and man, these two just wrote the book on mutual pining, huh?
