It was, unfortunately, the third time they'd had the argument. Thomas didn't know how it started this time, but he had a hunch.
"It's hard to trust someone who could leak all of our identities and weaknesses and get off completely scot-free," Hal was ranting to the assembled table of heroes. Thomas simply stared at him.
Barry was nodding along, even if he seemed guilty to be doing so. Oliver stood next to Hal in solidarity. The others seemed fairly indifferent, except…
Clark had this hopeful look in his eyes, even as he gave Hal a disappointed glare.

Thomas nodded. He hadn't.
The way Clark blinked several times made Thomas want to tilt his head. What was so confusing about this?

Summary
The news was told that Martha and Thomas Wayne had one lovely son. They were told they were taking their son, Bruce, to the movies. They were told Bruce watched his parents get shot in an alleyway when he was eight years old.
This is simply untrue. It was Thomas Jr. in the alleyway. Bruce was at home watching a movie he’d already seen before with their third brother, Nathaniel.
It was Thomas, named for his father, who was wrapped in a jacket by a kind police officer with the name Gordon. It was Thomas who went home that day with the knowledge that he was an orphan. It was Thomas who couldn’t speak for days, even weeks afterwards.
It was not Bruce, the namesake of his parents’ ruse, who went to the movies that night. Bruce preferred to watch movies in his own home. The manor had a theater room for a reason.
It was definitely not Nathaniel, named for a distant relative, who went to the movies, and was in fact banned from going to the movies because he would talk and cry the entire time.
It was all three of them that felt that loss, however.
