Summary
Takes place after season 4: Will Byers is devastated because the dam that once separated his world from the Upside Down is broken. It is only a matter of time until Vecna and his dark creatures overrun Hawkins. All hope seems to be lost. And there's another reason for Will's sadness. A reason which has nothing to do with alternate dimensions or monsters at all. And he hates himself because of the feelings he has for his best friend. When he finally decides to tell Mike, Vecna interrupts. And Will learns about some kind of power he possesses. Is he the key to end it all?

Will helps Robin and Vickie in the school gym with making PB&J’s. They both come to the realisation that they’re similarly different in one big way. Will starts coming to Robin and her girlfriend for advice about what he should do with Mike, seeing as Robin had a high success rate with this sort of stuff.
Will and Robin being the opposites that attract. Will barely talks, and Robin fills the silence perfectly. She helps him finally spit his feelings out for Mike.
AKA : Robin is the Steve to Will’s Dustin.

“Hey Will?” She asks eventually, turning to face him.
“Yeah?” He mirrors her position.
“The kids at school, back in Leonora, they figured us out.”
“The freak twins.”

While Eddie may not have been the most warm-and-fuzzy looking guy in the world, he did have a soft spot.
And when Mike, Lucas, and Dustin showed up to his trailer to play D&D without their cleric, Eddie felt a pang of sadness at his absence. When he had asked Mike about Will’s whereabouts, the little shit seemed both unknowledgeable and uninterested in his supposed best friend.
So that’s how Eddie, after making up some lame excuse about plans with his uncle, canceled Hellfire and found himself venturing into the woods towards Hopper’s cabin.
