Summary
Eren always told his friends safety within the Walls was fleeting, and his dream of seeing the outside world and liberating the people within the Walls from Titans was a tempting one. Yet, after the Scout Regiment is disbanded and Eren falls victim to his own ambitions, Mikasa and Armin are forced to reconsider what it means to be free, to be strong, and to survive. Their will to carry on in the face of catastrophe is strong, but as the planet plots to keep humanity in chains, they are forced to wonder what they, Eren's understudies, can do to overcome it.
This is my reimagining of the world of Attack on Titan, continuing from the official spin-off/OVA "Lost Girls: Lost in the Cruel World." I recommend you read or watch that before reading, but it is not required. In this universe, Mikasa's parents are not killed by kidnappers, setting off a chain of events which send the characters down different paths from the main story. My intent is to mix this with the events of the regular series to create an all-new story, which asks how things may have gone had this plot continued.

Summary
Year 2017 of the Imperial Calendar, the once strong nation of Japan has been fighting it's oppressors for 7 years. Right as it seems that the core resistance movements within Area 11 may be poised to fall, two boys awaken to a world which they feel inexorably compelled to change - with the help of new powers bestowed upon them. Will their battles to change the world bring them closer to each other, or will they instead push the duo apart?
AKA: Light Yagami and Lelouch vi Britannia both gain supernatural powers during a time in history where the world needs a hero the most. But they cannot both be the hero of this story. In a battle to change the world, which will become the one who changed it, and which will become the villain who was defeated to create peace? And what will become of their relationship, and of the lives of those around them?

Summary
Light wanted Kira to be synonymous to a God, but the Empire was making it hard for his plans to come to life. Lelouch wanted to burn Britannia to the ground, but he was powerless without an army to command. Similar fates intertwined by destiny, both unaware of their hatred for one common enemy. Will they learn to work together, or will they become each other's worst enemy?

Light is pissed that the Royal Family is actually smart enough to avoid getting themselves killed after his first few murders as Kira and doesn't like that Zero and his Black Knights suddenly spring out from nowhere, usurping his brand of justice that he worked to keep alive for two years.
